Written by/ Monah Shehab:
Colleagues in the Islamic Makassed at Saida and the world miss “The Great Shehab” and pray god for mercy on him with sorrow in their hearts.
The high profile allumni Mohammed Abed Al-Rahman Shehab, nicknamed “The Great Shehab”, has passed away.
His Colleagues in the Islamic Makassed in Saida and the world, have been shocked by his passing away and loss. He has left them with emptiness that cannot be compensated that is not only confined to relations in the Makassed, but much more important than those, are his consultations and advice together with financial studies, and his source of valuable information in this field of economic activities.
For him (May God bless his soul) was, at one time, a banking counsellor at Intra Bank then later he was nominated as a manager at Intra Bank and remained a manager even after the bank’s name had been changed into Al-Mashreq.
The deceased has been awarded an advanced certificate in banking with distinction by the Association of banking. He has been nicknamed “the great Shehab of the advanced managements” by the ex-president of the Banks Association Mr. Makram Sader.
For memory, “the great Shehab” was one of the first prominent speakers at the Makassed College in Saida and he had a literary background in editing.
The Makassed Magazine “The College Inspiration” in Saida and at the Islamic Makassed, still remain in the memories and hearts of the conservative people of Saida.
Farewell to Mohammed Abed Al-Rahmman Shehab The great man who was proud of his behavior, humility and dignity and consideration to others.
He has won the respect and love of all people who have known him and have dealt with him, thus he has merited a well-deserved title "the great Shehab".
May Allah Almighty grant him mercy and satisfaction, for his family and his loved ones patience and solace.
May Allah have mercy on him and place him into his Paradise.
Our thanks and gratitude go to his colleagues for their messages that expressed their condolences and their noble passions. I wish all of you a long life.
